Congratulations to Andrea DeHerrera, Alamosa County Employee of the Year!

Andrea DeHerrera was nominated twice with the following nominations: 

1st Nomination: Andrea was off from work on this day, but stopped by her office to pick something up. While she was here, there was an accident with another Alamosa County employee. Andrea was the first nurse to get to that employee; she jumped right in to help. She had her supplies handy and was able to help assess the situation and take the employees vitals. Even though it was her day off, her timing couldn't have been better and her willingness to help was much appreciated by everyone involved.

2nd Nomination: I would like to nominate Andrea because she has been doing Field work in addition to her Home Health Administrator Job. Over the past year, she has completed 361 visits and has done it tirelessly to make sure our clients are seen. I know the Home Health Administrator job description, is to cover the clinicians visits but when it is constant, I think she deserves a shout out and it is over and beyond the expectation of the Administrator job description. And more recently, she took a day off, and happened to come in to the office and there was a medical incident happening in the office, she immediately offered to take the person's blood pressure to make sure the person was okay. Thank you, Andrea, for all your hard work! You are an AMAZING nurse.
