Nominate an Employer for National Disability Employment Awareness Month

Each October, National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) celebrates the contributions of individuals with disabilities and the programs that support their success in today’s workforce.

Iowa Workforce Development (IWD) and its Vocational Rehabilitation Services Division will mark the month in several ways, beginning with an effort to highlight employers who help Iowans with disabilities achieve meaningful, long-term employment.

Nominate an employer from now until the deadline (Wednesday, September 23, 2026) to honor businesses and organizations across the state!

Nominations for the Employer Recognition Awards will be accepted through September 23, 2026. Thank you for your participation as we work to honor businesses across Iowa!
