Certified Aviation Services Welcomes Back Zachary Bagdasarian as Vice President of Line Maintenance
Veteran aviation operations leader returns to guide CAS's U.S. line maintenance network and strengthen safety, consistency and customer performance.
ONTARIO, CA, UNITED STATES, September 2, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Certified Aviation Services, LLC (CAS), a leading provider of aircraft maintenance services, today announced that Zachary “Zach” Bagdasarian has rejoined the company as Vice President of Line Maintenance. Zach will lead CAS's line maintenance organization across its U.S. station network, with responsibility for operational performance, safety, quality, workforce development and customer service.
Zach returns to CAS after an earlier seven-year tenure, from 2005 to 2012, during which he advanced from Las Vegas Station General Manager to Regional Director. In that role, he managed eight line maintenance stations and their profit-and-loss performance, led operational turnarounds, developed technical and management talent, and maintained close relationships with airline customers. He also led the Las Vegas base through FAA Part 145 Repair Station certification in 60 days.
“Zach's return brings CAS a rare combination of immediate familiarity and broader operating perspective gained from leading a large, multi-country station network. He understands the demands airlines place on line maintenance providers and has demonstrated the financial discipline, regulatory rigor and people leadership needed to deliver safe, consistent service. We are pleased to welcome him home to CAS.”
- Brad Caban, President and Chief Executive Officer, Certified Aviation Services
Most recently, Zach served as Air Canada's Regional Manager of Line Maintenance for the Western United States, Mexico and the Dominican Republic. He oversaw operations across 38 stations, coordinated AOG response and technical training, managed a terminal handling budget, transitioned maintenance providers at five major stations without operational disruption, and led the launch of 12 new stations across the Western United States and Mexico.
A licensed Airframe and Powerplant mechanic, Zach brings nearly five decades of aircraft maintenance experience and more than four decades in management. His career includes 21 years in the United States Air Force, where he led jet engine and line maintenance operations, followed by leadership positions with National Airlines and Raytheon Aircraft Service. He holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
“CAS played an important role in my career, and I am excited to return at a time of continued growth. My priorities will be clear: support our people, maintain uncompromising safety and quality, strengthen accountability across the station network, and ensure every customer receives reliable service at every location.”
