DeliverFund Launches Long-Term Counter-Trafficking Support for Super Bowl LXI and 2028 Los Angeles Olympics
Following a record World Cup operation, DeliverFund will provide intelligence, training, and analytic support through Super Bowl LXI and the 2028 LA Olympics.
WHITEFISH, MT, UNITED STATES, September 2, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- DeliverFund, the nonprofit counter-human trafficking intelligence organization, announced today that it is preparing to support law enforcement agencies through the next two American mega events: Super Bowl LXI at SoFi Stadium on February 14, 2027, and the Los Angeles Summer Olympics from July 14 to July 30, 2028.
The commitment follows the largest counter-human trafficking operation in DeliverFund’s history. Between June 10 and July 19, 2026, DeliverFund analysts submitted 2,177 intelligence reports to law enforcement agencies during the FIFA World Cup, an average of roughly 56 reports a day across 39 consecutive days. It was the highest volume of reporting the organization has produced for a single operation, and the longest counter-human trafficking operation DeliverFund has taken part in.
"Human trafficking investigations are built by investigators and prosecutors. Our job is to make sure they have the intelligence they need to land a prosecution," said Shane Erickson, Chief of Operations at DeliverFund. "The Super Bowl is six months out, and the Olympics are two years out. Agencies that start preparing for the influx of human-trafficking now will be identifying victims when those events arrive. Agencies that wait for the crowds will be reacting to them."
Supporting Agencies Through 2027 and 2028
Ahead of Super Bowl LXI and the 2028 Games, DeliverFund will:
· Sustain analytic coverage rather than surge coverage. Analysts will continue monitoring illicit online commercial sex activity nationwide, so agencies working host jurisdictions are not starting from a cold baseline when an event approaches.
· Deliver intelligence reports directly to federal, state, and local investigators; each report is tied to a specific potential victim, trafficker, or trafficking venue.
· Provide real-time analytic support during operations, answering questions from officers in the field and turning intelligence around fast enough to be useful during an operation or investigation instead of after it.
· Train law enforcement personnel on identifying and investigating trafficking activity in illicit online markets, including agencies in and around host jurisdictions.
DeliverFund provides this support at the request of law enforcement. The organization does not conduct investigations or enforcement of its own.
The Constraint Is Capacity
Proactive operations run on intelligence, and intelligence is analytic hours. Most bureaus cannot pull those hours out of an existing schedule.
DeliverFund supplies data, analysis, and training delivered to the investigators doing the work. During the World Cup, the agencies that moved before the crowds arrived were the ones that brought children home.
Super Bowl LXI is six months out. The 2028 Olympics are two years out. Neither is a surprise, and no agency should be starting from zero when they arrive.
