Leaders at Ironwood State Prison recently hosted a staff appreciation event to honor employees for their exceptional dedication, hard work and commitment to the institution’s needs.
Supported by the California Correctional Peace Officers Association (CCPOA) and the Ironwood State Prison Employees Association, the warden and managers provided freshly grilled cheeseburgers and refreshing snow cones to staff across the facility. This collaborative effort offered a much-deserved break, boosting morale and fostering a strong sense of community.
“Ultimately, administration deeply values everyone’s grit and dedication, recognizing while the prison environment poses tough daily challenges, staff’s unmatched hard work never goes unnoticed,” according to organizers.
